With Autocam Medical's focus on continuous improvement and growth, expanding the expertise of our CNC Programmers is essential. Last week, we were excited to welcome Jayson Williams, an Applications Engineer from Hexagon, for an in-depth, weeklong training on the Esprit CAM system for CNC programming. This session introduced future CNC Programmers at Autocam Medical to the software, focusing on toolpath optimization and advanced functionalities to enhance machining efficiency. The hands-on, real-time approach allowed attendees to ask process-specific questions and gain practical insights tailored to our operations. The knowledge gained will empower them to identify opportunities for reducing cycle times and improving cost efficiency, while maintaining our high-quality standards. A big thank you to Jayson for leading this valuable training and to everyone who participated!

Autocam Medical Annual All-Company Meeting This week, we held our annual all-company meeting, bringing our entire team together, with our Kentwood, Murfreesboro and Plymouth plants joining to hear our President and CEO, John Kennedy, sharing insights on the past year's performance and goals for the new year. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for all Autocam Medical employees to connect with leadership, gain key business updates, and engage in meaningful discussions that help strengthen our company culture and work environment. This year's meeting also featured a raffle, which included a PTO day and tickets to a Grand Rapids Griffins game. Annual gatherings like this reinforce our commitment to transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to another successful event!

Autocam Medical sends a big thank you to Rod C. Taylor, Ph.D.! Rod recently led his course on ‘Presenting with a Purpose’, where Autocam Medical team members learned ways, they can improve and build on their presentation skills. During the session, Rod provided valuable insights on crafting compelling introductions and conclusions, maintaining clear objectives, and delivering presentations with purpose. Instructor-led courses, like this one, are key components of our commitment to continuous improvement. They empower our team members to develop new skills and refine existing ones. At Autocam Medical, it is one of the ways we remain dedicated to fostering professional growth and excellence.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) 2025 Annual Meeting is fast approaching, just over a month away! This year the AAOS Annual Meeting is being held on March 10th-13th in San Diego, California at the San Diego Convention Center. Don’t forget to make your plans to stop by and see us at booth #4814! We are so proud to announce the three newest?Grand Valley State University?recipients of our Autocam Medical Engineering Scholarship Award! On January 9th, Owen Kirkpatrick, Grant Hayford, and Thomas Kling were each presented with an Autocam Medical Engineering Scholarship. The scholarship is designed to encourage and educate students about advanced manufacturing and pays up to full tuition at GVSU. The competitive scholarship is awarded to deserving full-time GVSU students going into their sophomore year in the Seymour and Esther Padnos College of Engineering and Computing. Our winners were selected for their skills, academic merit, and their ability to meet Academic Progress Standards. Our winners will also have the opportunity to participate in three paid co-ops with Autocam Medical during the summer of their first year, winter of their second year and fall of their third year. Congratulations to Owen, Grant, and Thomas! The future is bright!

Autocam Medical is spreading Holiday Cheer in Plymouth, Massachusetts! As the holiday season unfolds, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on our Plymouth Facility and their incredible commitment to giving back. For the past nine years, our Autocam Medical team in Plymouth has partnered with My Brother's Keeper, a remarkable organization based in Easton, Massachusetts, that delivers gifts to families across local communities. This year, the team adopted three families, each sharing a wish list of essentials like blankets, clothing, and toys—everyday items that many of us might take for granted. Our incredible team members came together to purchase these items and even volunteered their time to wrap the gifts.
