We're stoked to announce... "Team Space Savants"!! Competing in 2024-2025 Season of StellarXplorers as the 1st Gifted-Autistic STEM team in a National Space Design Challenge! Last week, our 2-person Summer Fellow Cohort ("Cohort 0") competed in their 1st official round for 6 hours solving an STK scenario...determining the optimal orbit for a satellite mission with strict constraints. Interested in joining us as a volunteer in our cadre of technical mentors, please feel free to reach out. StellarXplorers National Space Design Challenge (founded by Air & Space Forces Association), enables high school teams gain exposure to space mission engineering before college. Teams compete by applying Orbits, Satellite Architecture & Launch Ops knowledge via modeling/analysis in Systems Toolkit (STK). Then, are judged on how well their designed mission optimally meets the competition’s requirements.
