Since 2011, we have partnered with clients wanting a neurodiverse workplace by providing inclusion and technology solutions that benefit from our autistic DNA. As an autistic-majority company, we’re a resource for talent. We integrate our technology consultants into client companies, performing as software developers, data analysts, QA engineers, and more.     As the #manufacturing industry faces workforce shortages, there’s a growing opportunity to create rewarding roles in #robotics and #automation for autistic workers. At a recent USC workshop exploring how companies can confidently hire autistic talent for these specialized roles, our Neuroinclusion Coaching Director Reshma Dhawan shared insights on harnessing the strengths of autistic professionals. She also shared advice on creating inclusive work environments for autistic team members. Thank you to Satyandra K.     We continue our celebration of employee milestones by congratulating and thanking Isha Dash for an amazing 10 years on the auticon team! Over the last decade, Isha has been actively involved in providing career opportunities for more than 100 autistic technologists! In her role as Chief Customer Officer at auticon, Isha fosters the career development of autistic technologists while helping our clients experience the benefits of working with neurodivergent talent. “10 years with auticon has been such a rewarding journey,” Isha said. “I have had the chance to grow both personally and professionally, alongside some truly amazing colleagues. Together, we continue to build something special, united by a shared mission and passion for what we do.” Isha joined the company in 2014 as a Project Manager leading a team of autistic technologists. She was promoted to Director of Operations in 2017 and to Chief Customer Officer in 2021. Her leadership has been central to auticon's success and growth, including through the continued expansion of our existing client partnerships.     New research from HR academics highlights the importance of line managers in creating an inclusive environment for neurodivergent employees. It also emphasizes that these "pockets of good practice" aren't enough to drive change on their own--the company's overall policies and culture need to evolve to embrace #neuroinclusion. These findings underscore what we already know and practice at auticon. Our holistic approach to neuroinclusion ensures sustainable change throughout the organization.     auticon is a great place to build a career--just ask our 10 employees who are celebrating 5- and 10-year milestones this year! One of them is Evan Rochte, who took part in a QA and workplace skills training in 2014 and is now a Senior Analyst working on QA projects for major clients. "What I have enjoyed about working at auticon is not only the people I've worked with over the years, but also how accommodating auticon is," Evan says. "It is their mission to help employ the under served autistic adult community that makes me feel proud to work at this global company." In his 10 years at auticon, Evan has had the opportunity to grow both his technical and workplace skills significantly.?He became proficient in creating and executing test cases, tracking defects, and learning new software tools for testing. He also learned to adapt to different client software and processes while working within deadlines and different release cycles. Evan has also worked on improving his written and communication skills, allowing him to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients both in-person and remotely. He has been featured in several online and print media publications sharing his career journey. We congratulate and thank Evan for 10 years as an essential member of the auticon team!     Big news--we launched a nonprofit! The auticon Training Institute (ATI) trains and prepares autistic adults for careers in high-demand tech fields like software engineering, data analysis, and cybersecurity. And we have an opportunity for your company to get involved! “Autistic individuals often have the ideal aptitudes and abilities for tech careers, but may lack the required technical skills or job experience to land their first role,” says Vance Checketts, CEO of auticon US and ATI Board President. “ATI exists to fill those gaps, creating a mutual benefit for autistic adults and companies seeking skilled tech talent. Our goal is to?increase the supply of ready-to-work autistic technologists and ultimately decrease unemployment and underemployment within the autistic community.” ATI offers structured training pathways, certifications, internships, mentorships, and networking opportunities—all free of charge for the trainees. At the same time, ATI's internship partners benefit from access to pre-screened and custom-trained talent, job coaching, and neuroinclusion training for their teams. The first cohort of trainees has completed their training and started internships at Regeneron.
