Author Carol Graham

Carol Graham has been a registered nurse for close to 40 years. She studied at Florida Atlantic University. The majority of her nursing career was in home health. Carol believes that the joy of home nursing is getting to know the patient and family. They are all part of the patient’s plan of care. As a nurse, she would always do her physical assessment of the patient, then start teaching patients. Education is a huge aspect of home care, instructing patients and families on their disease process, diet, medications, and exercise. Also, instructing how to perform procedures such as IV management properly and wound care. Carol is semi-retired and part of a COVID-19 relief team, performing nasal swabs and vaccine administration. She has been married for over 40 years, and they have two grown children and one grandson, and Carol wrote this book for her grandson, Graham. Carol enjoys riding her bicycle, playing pickleball, traveling, and watching football with her husband.
