Strengthening Northern Territory's Future with the China Inbound Market We’re excited to have wrapped up a successful ATEC China Host Workshop in Darwin where local operators gained valuable insights on the booming China inbound market. The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations (NFACR) 澳中基金会 continued support will be particularly beneficial for the Northern Territory, with their investment in the China market that's set to yield significant returns, not just for individual businesses but for the entire local economy. One of the highlights of the workshop was the engaging Q&A session with Lok Wang from Extragreen Holidays, where we explored the importance of collaborating with ITOs and implementing online payment systems to effectively cater to Chinese travellers. Our breakout sessions focused on understanding the expectations of Chinese visitors and how local tourism operators can tailor their products to meet these demands, ensuring a great experience for all. It’s clear that tapping into the China inbound market will be a game changer for NT tourism—empowering businesses and driving regional growth.
