INTRODUCING OUR BOARD: TREASURER - WENDI WHITE As Treasurer, Wendi helps support the chapter’s growth and community impact. She serves as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the City of Austin, where she established the Information Security Office that protects the City's critical infrastructure and services. Wendi's three decades of experience span several sectors and disciplines including technology management, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) management, security operations, incident response, and digital forensics. ? Previously, Wendi worked with Cisco Systems as CIO/CISO of Remote Operations Services, then as Chief of Staff for Global Client Services, delivering an expansive technology portfolio to 250K staff. Prior to Cisco, Wendi managed eGovernment Infrastructure for KPMG’s SLED practice, launching the State of Texas’ first portal for drivers license and registration renewals and expanding to over 240 digital government applications nationally. Earlier in her career, she held technology management and consulting roles at IBM, BMC, and government agencies. ? Wendi is passionate about STEM talent development, serving on the boards of several organizations and universities. She is a registered CISSP, CCISO, CGEIT, PMP, and LSSGB, and holds certifications in data science and ITIL.
