Super Bowl Sunday Safety tip: Always remember to keep your eyes on the road and drive safely! ???? You might be surprised how often vehicles crash into poles. Between ensuring medical care for those involved, damage assessment, equipment repair, and securing the scene, crashes can lead to power outages that take time to repair. In fact, last year during the #SuperBowl a car collision with a utility pole knocked out power to more than 3,000 people in North Austin right as the halftime show began. Our crews saved the day and restored power just before the second half of the game to all affected customers. ??? Thank you to all our staff and crews who are monitoring conditions and working through the big game to keep our community powered up! Learn more about outage causes: https://lnkd.in/gyAfXSmv
