The Austin Community College Real Estate Department provides premier courses and degree plans that give students the practical, theoretical, and technical knowledge needed to be successful in the field of real estate. Our curriculum provides students with first-rate professional and workforce programs that result in employment in the public and private sectors. It is based on identified competencies, and strives to be socially responsible as well as addressing employer needs. We are committed to; Providing students in the Real Estate degree plans the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their Real Estate abilities and help them to seek employment in a Real Estate position. Providing students in the workforce areas the knowledge and skills necessary for job enhancement. Providing employers in our community a trained, technically competent, and diverse workforce. Providing all students advising from a qualified, dedicated, and accessible faculty. We have a student organization that meets several times a year and it is sponsored by James Crane. We also offer our Real Estate students a free exam prep. Additional information is located on our Real Estate webpages. SACS Accreditation – The Austin Community College District is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees and certificates. TREC Accreditation – We are approved by TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission) so all courses are accepted for full credit towards a student's hours for a Real Estate license. ACBSP Accreditation – Our program is ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) which accredits quality business programs across the globe. ACBSP focuses on teaching excellence, student learning outcomes, and continuous improvement. It is focused on student-centered teaching and learning.
