The ACC Foundation is very excited and thankful to partner with the ITServe Alliance Austin Chapter to establish a scholarship program that will support ACC students pursuing a degree in a STEM field. It was great to meet members of the organization when they came to tour our Highland Campus Make it Center and Accelerator.

We are excited to partner with the Moody Center to create this new scholarship. We are very thankful for their generosity!
Big news! Moody Center, Austin’s premier entertainment venue, just gifted ACC $15,000 to fund the brand-new Moody Center Endowed Scholarship at ACC. The scholarship –– made through Austin Arena Company’s community platform Red River Rising –– is open to students in the College’s Audio Technology & Industry Program. ? Moody Center Endowed Scholarship Highlights ? Financial support so you can stay focused on your passion. Mentorship + shadowing with the Moody Center’s award-winning team. The ACC Board of Trustees and ACC Foundation accepted a generous $100,000 gift from H-E-B during the Board's regular November 4 meeting. This gift supports ACC’s Student Care Center, addressing students' basic needs and provides tuition support to ACC students. In appreciation and recognition of this gift, the Student Care Center at ACC's Highland Campus will be renamed the “H-E-B Student Care Center.” “Donations like this one from H-E-B are transformative for our students,” says ACC Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart. “This gift is an investment in our community. It starts with ensuring students have access to the resources they need to succeed,” says Heidi Anderson, H-E-B, Senior Director of Public Affairs for Central Texas.

Last Friday the Assistance League hosted their annual scholarship luncheon. We were able to hear inspiring stories from many scholarship recipients and their Assistance League Advocates. This wonderful scholarship program was started through the ACC Foundation in 1998 and has assisted over 550 students pursue an education at Austin Community College. We are so grateful to the Assistance League for their generosity and commitment to this scholarship program.

“Mia’s” husband was hospitalized and out of work for several weeks. He provided the sole source of income for the family. She needed funds to pay their bills so she would not have to quit school and obtain a job to get them through. After receiving emergency funding, she completed a degree in Architectural Computer Aided Drafting.
