We’re excited to announce that Austin Bridge & Road and joint venture partner Fluor Corporation – Lone Star Constructors, NEX – have broken ground on Phase 1 of the Interstate 35 (I-35) Northeast Expansion (NEX) South project in San Antonio. Thank you, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), for hosting the ceremonial groundbreaking earlier this week. With substantial completion anticipated in 2028, the traveling public will begin to see much needed improvements to safety and mobility on the Texas roadway. #WeOwnIt #Construction

Here are some helpful tips to keep in mind for a safe and enjoyable holiday: Trick-or-Treating: Keep young children in well-lit areas, avoid busy streets, and remind them to stay alert. Inspect all treats before enjoying. Motorists: Watch for children on streets and driveways, especially in dark costumes. Drive slowly to ensure safety. Costume Safety: Choose well-fitting, flame-resistant costumes, and test makeup on a small area first. Visibility: Add reflective tape or glow sticks to costumes, and consider a reflective vest for accompanying adults.

We’re proud to have completed DFW Airport’s Runway 17R/35L Rehabilitation Project ahead of schedule with zero recordable incidents. This achievement marks another significant milestone in our 50-year partnership with DFW, stretching back to when we helped build the original airport. With over 350,000 work hours invested, the project involved pouring 195,000 CY of concrete, laying nearly 400,000 tons of asphalt, and replacing critical infrastructure for one of the busiest runways at the airport. Congratulations to the entire team for their dedication and collaboration in delivering a safe and efficient project! #WeOwnIt
