If your construction team wants to learn either Spanish OR English with a focus on jobsite safety, then check out this grant-funded opportunity to take FREE online classes! As some of you may know, the Austin AGC has partnered over the past year with Freestyle's Language at Work Program to offer online Spanish language training to construction professionals in Texas and across the country. The Austin AGC team - Shiloh Rowe, Toni Osberry and Phil Thoden - have all all enjoyed taking these classes! Through the new grant program in partnership with Workforce Solutions Capital Area, Freestyle and the Austin Safety Council, we're now offering similar training to Austin area construction firms. The Austin Infrastructure Academy will host its inaugural expo event on March 26 to build up a local pipeline of infrastructure workers to support billions of dollars’ worth of mobility projects underway!
