AHA is committed to helping Veterans experiencing homelessness secure stable housing through the HUD-VASH program.

AHA recently expanded its benefits package to include employer-funded Wellness Lifestyle Spending Accounts. It covers expenses such as gym memberships, hobbies, and transportation which are not covered under traditional flexible spending accounts. Thank you all for attending the grand opening celebration for Walden35 - AHA's newest development located at 3500 Walden St., Aurora, CO 80011. Nestled within the Gateway Park neighborhood in Aurora, Walden35 added 100 units of affordable housing in a community that is both walkable and transit oriented.

Senior Director of Property Operations The Senior Director of Property Operations is responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction for Aurora Housing Authority's portfolio of properties.? Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field required.? A minimum of 10 (ten) progressive years in a leadership role with experience managing medium to large properties including oversight of maintenance functions. Must have extensive experience and knowledge of laws and regulations that pertain to affordable?housing and construction management. We wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to the WALDEN35 team on obtaining their Certificate of Occupancy this past Friday. The entire team did an outstanding job and brought the project to completion 4 days earlier than the contractual obligations. The WALDEN35 project was developed by Aurora Housing Authority - Colorado and designed by ej architecture, pllc. The project consisted of a 4 story wood framed structure with a conventional footing system and included 100 new affordable housing units for the Aurora, CO community.
