When organizations with shared missions come together, extraordinary things happen! We are incredibly grateful to the Georgia Aquarium for hosting nearly 350 members of the pediatric cancer community for a morning filled with joy, exploration, and unforgettable moments. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the 3rd Annual Aquarium Day such a special experience! This week, we celebrate National Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses Day, dedicated to recognizing the exceptional nurses who care for children and young adults with cancer and blood disorders. Their unwavering dedication and compassion ensure that their precious patients and our cherished campers receive the highest standard of care and support. We are incredibly grateful to the nurses who care for our campers in the hospital and those who ensure their safety and happiness at camp. Our campers were swinging high from the treetops at our first post-summer Aurora Fun-day this past Saturday at Treetop Quest. Campers of every age climbed high and low and their friends making new memories!

Today is Proclamation Day in Atlanta, when Governor Kemp declares September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
