A little late but better late than never… earlier this year, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in Aurelia Institute’s Horizon 2023/2024 Campaign as a representative of the Brooke Owens Fellowship. I am grateful to the entire team at Zero-G for ensuring we were able to experience microgravity safely ?? For the past two years, we at Zenith Canada Pathways Foundation have worked with the Aurelia Institute to select alumni from our program to participate in the Horizon campaign. This year, we had Abigail Lee represent her project for the Horizon 2023 campaign, and Cici Hall represent for the Horizon 2024 campaign. It was extremely special to be in Boston with them on the flight after seeing them grow in their careers since their time in the fellowship ? Most of the time, I am behind the scenes working on ensuring that the Zenith Fellowship program happens every year and providing cool opportunities for our Fellows. So, I am eternally grateful to the Brooke Owens Fellowship for continuing to change my life and enable me to do cool things! CEO Ariel Ekblaw has been selected as a member of the 6th cohort of @emersoncollective's Dial Fellowship! We are excited to expand the impact of Aurelia's mission to scale up life in space.

We were proud to participate in Autodesk Construction Cloud's Make It Resilient contest, which challenged high school students to imagine new ways to build for extreme environments. Aurelia Institute’s TESSERAE Pavilion was the inspiration for the contest with its vision of a future where life in space is welcoming, enticing, and practically accessible for all people. Aurelia provided 3D models of our TESSERAE Pavilion design in Tinkercad and Autodesk Fusion as starter designs for competitors; and then Senior Mechanical Engineer Evan Hilgemann acted as a judge in the competition. https://lnkd.in/e6KDXx9Q
