Members of our audiochuck team had a blast at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, last night to support Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana at their Huddle Against Hunger event! At audiochuck, advocacy is at the heart of what we do and each year our team members are able to show their support to an organization of their choosing, such as Gleaners, for their work anniversaries. From individual employee support, to coming together to contribute to a food drive, to attending events like Huddle Against Hunger, we are proud supporters of Gleaners and the incredible work they do to distribute food in Indiana! We are incredibly proud of the ongoing partnership between audiochuck and More Than a Phone, a remarkable organization based in Fishers, IN, that provides critical support to individuals in abusive situations by giving them access to a phone—an essential lifeline for those seeking to leave their abusers. When?More Than a Phone?first began, it was a small, local organization. However, through the power of storytelling on?Crime Junkie?and our shared commitment to advocacy,?More Than a Phone?was able to expand its reach, growing from a local initiative to a nationwide movement with over 125 partners. Their goal for 2025 is to reach 175 partnerships, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue supporting this life-saving mission. Some of our audiochuck team members had the honor of being ambassadors at the?More Than a Tailgate?fundraising event, held at the Colts Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, to help raise even more support for this cause. One of the most touching moments happened when one of our team members, while taking an Uber to the event, struck up a conversation with her driver. In a true full-circle moment, the driver revealed that she was a recipient of one of the phones provided by?More Than a Phone, and expressed her gratitude for the support she received during a difficult time. This story highlights the profound impact of?More Than a Phone, and we are humbled to play a role in amplifying their mission.
