We are an officially chartered group of Auburn University, dedicated to enhancing the engagement and connection of all Auburn University alumni and friends in the Greater Nashville area. We aim to foster the the Auburn spirit through club activities and projects here in Music City. We proudly fund a scholarship endowment, providing Auburn tuition assistance to deserving students from our community. We also sponsor social, charitable, and cultural events that give Auburn alumni and friends an opportunity to meet up, have a good time, and cheer on the Tigers

This month, we will be introducing Hannah Deschner ‘20 & ‘22 from Tuscaloosa, AL ?? What made you want to get more involved with club leadership? ? I’ve always been passionate about Auburn and its community. I believe that being involved in club leadership is a great way to give back to the university and help foster a strong sense of Auburn spirit in Nashville. ?? What’s your favorite AU sport and why? ? Football, without a doubt! ?? There’s nothing like the excitement of a gameday in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Favorite place to eat in Auburn? ? Acre!! They have the best food in the world! ?? Favorite place to eat in Nashville? ? Bartaco. Delicious tacos & margaritas and a fun atmosphere! ?? What are you most looking forward to about being on the leadership team? ? I’m looking forward to meeting new people and strengthening the bonds within our Auburn community in Nashville! Congratulations to former GNAC leadership committee member & Nashvillian, Hunter Whitten ‘17, on being selected for Auburn Alumni Association / Auburn Young Alumni Council’s 2024 Class of 20 under 40! Hunter Whitten is a project manager for the Nashville-based Turner Construction Company as well as chair of the board of directors of Rebuilding Together Nashville. A native of Hackleburg, Ala., Whitten has served in many roles at Turner, constructing more than 1.2 million square feet of space in multi-family, healthcare, and office space totaling more than $300 million in total revenue. He is currently the project manager for a $120M, 30-story high-rise being constructed in downtown Nashville. A member of the ACE Mentorship Board of Directors, he assisted in providing nearly $100,000 in scholarships to local high school students.
