Colorado students and communities submitted 28,218 reports to Safe2Tell during the 2023-2024 school year, a 27% increase from the previous year. According to the annual report released today, suicide, bullying, drugs, and school threats were among the top concerns, with school complaints becoming the most-reported category for the first time. The annual report also outlines changes coming in 2024-2025, including new categories for school safety concerns and the continuation of the Gold Star program recognizing outstanding schools in Safe2Tell education and outreach. ??
