The Attentive Energy team has been dedicated to collaborating with hundreds of stakeholders throughout New Jersey for more than 5 years. Through deep engagement and listening to diverse insights, we’re proposing a vision to drive local economic growth and combat climate change.? The proposed project, which reaches communities all 21 counties in NJ, is a forward-thinking strategy to propel New Jersey’s #offshorewind industry forward while safeguarding our environment and creating local workforce and business opportunities. This proposal builds on the momentum and success of the #AE2 project and the State’s leading commitments to offshore wind transmission and infrastructure. ?? Providing over 1.3 GW of clean offshore wind energy that will power 650,000 NJ homes annually ?? Deliver up to $110 million in community investments, focused on sustainability workforce development, labor, environmental justice, education, & more ? Marshalling at the NJ wind port, as well as investing in the local supply chain ?? Committed to responsible development and environmental stewardship, we’re investing in leading research and conservation organizations ?? It was great to connect with the stakeholders who joined, engaging in critical conversations about how we can continue to drive economic development, business innovation, and job creation in New Jersey. Also great to connect with business leaders from NJMEP, New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) and NJSBDC State Office doing this work on the frontlines.
