CMS has proposed a 2.2% rate increase for MA in 2025 (compared to a 0.2% decrease in 2024). ?? Medicaid & ACA: ??Medicaid managed care enrollment is expected to decline due to reauthorization, eligibility changes, and work requirements ??States lost an average of 15% of peak COVID-era Medicaid enrollment between March 2023 – June 2024 ?? Regulatory Changes: ??The January 31, 2025, executive order, "Unleashing Prosperity Through Deregulation" requires eliminating 10 regulations for every new one - and a regulatory freeze adds uncertainty ?? Key deadlines for Medicare Advantage: ??? Advance notice comments – due Feb 10 ??? Final notice – due April 7 ???
