Talk about a sweet teammate! ?? Julia Navin has been a vital part of the Atrium Health Levine Children's team in Charlotte for almost three years. Her passion for nutrition and its impact on our bodies has led her to this career, where she loves getting to know each of her dialysis patients! One of Julia's favorite initiatives is partnering with a local food pantry to provide kidney-friendly foods to patients. She especially enjoys seeing kids excited about picking out fresh, in-season fruits and veggies! ?? With her sweet tooth, Julia loves Waffle Wednesdays, where kids get to choose their toppings for kidney-friendly waffles. Last month, they even had a Valentine's Day theme with white chocolate chips, fresh strawberries and strawberry compote. Yum! Outside of work, Julia enjoys trying new recipes, traveling and spending time with her fiancé, Ryan, and their cat, Coco. If she could have any superpower, it would be teleportation—imagine breakfast in Nashville, lunch in Italy and dinner in Mexico! ??
