It was great to join ATPS 2024 in Kuala Lumpur with colleagues from Bently Nevada, Baker Hughes again this year. All made great presentations including tutorial and case studies.

Last Thursday was a wrap-up of our participation at Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium. Joined my colleagues for enriching talks with industry experts and co-presenting the cutting-edge #DRIVE VORECON recent development for #electrification pilot in Saudi Arabia. Innovative design enhancements by Voith experts for Saudi Aramco, successfully delivered to improve pump drive #efficiency. ? Another #reliable drive electrification milestone. Appreciation goes to all Voith colleagues behind this achievement. Special thanks to Peter Goretzki and Alexander Schust for the continuous support, and to Jan Vaas (ヴァース ヤン) and colleagues from SEA region for supporting during the event. It’s a wrap for Powering Your Innovation Competition 2024. It was a pleasure to participate in the GTA - Global Turbine Asia and Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium event. It was unexpected to be announced as top 3 and Alhamdulillah to be the champion for undergradute category. I would like to congratulate all participants and winner. ?? Reflecting on an Inspiring Experience at the Asia Turbomachinery & Pumps Symposium! ?? Hello there connections, I'll tell you a bit about what I was busy on last week.?I had the amazing chance to go to the Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium at KLCC from May 14th to 16th. It was put together by Texas A&M University. This event showed off the newest products from around the world and was a great way to meet some of the smartest people in the energy industry. As a going to be?graduate student, it's important to go to events like this to learn about the business and get ready for it. At first, it felt very stressed going by myself. It was hard to find my way around the booths and figure out who to talk to and what questions to ask. Getting out of my comfort zone wasn't easy, but I'm glad I did it to talk to experts in the field, ask questions, and share my thoughts. From learning about innovative seal technologies to exploring solutions for current challenges to pave the way for a better future, the symposium was packed with valuable insights. One of the best parts was taking part in Ir. Ts. Dr. Harris A Rahman Sabri, P.Eng MIEM, PMP (Principal for Rotating at PETRONAS) case study on how to monitor turbomachinery remotely for PETRONAS Floating LNG. It was very helpful to talk to Dr. Harris about my ongoing project on improving wind turbines later. He had wise and important things to say. Thank you, Dr. Harris! The move towards sustainability in this business makes me very happy about its future. What I've learned will help me do my job better and make a difference in finding new, long-lasting energy options.
