Memorable moments from a specific job? - "For the Academy Awards, the crate of molded trim that we got needed to be sorted, painted, matched to the drawings, and applied. Once it was done, it looked amazing, but the process was a challenge. It’s always amazing to see how the raw materials are transformed into works of art by each department that touches them."

Shop → Show: ATOMIC x Made On YouTube Bringing bold visions to life, our Custom Fabrication team partnered with Good Sense & Company to create two iconic spaces for the "Made On YouTube" show. ?? This collaboration resulted in immersive environments designed to inspire—each crafted with the signature ATOMIC touch. On the Keynote Stage (designed by De-Yan), we went all in, bringing: Custom curved stairs and walls with built-in shelves A massive screen surround with rounded corners (in collaboration with our friends at Creative Technology!) An “upstage” character wall for an unforgettable backdrop A super bespoke whitewashed floor finish (shoutout to Mara, one of our amazing scenic painters!) Maple laminate wing walls and expertly crafted masking elements that tied everything together For the Pre-function Space, we built an 18’ tall, 40’ wide statement wall with rounded corners that doubled as a catering table. This Halloween, ATOMIC’s Custom Fabrication team took a journey into the darkness to bring DJ phenom Alan Walker's Horror House vision to life. Held in the iconic Bill Graham Auditorium, we transformed the stage into a sinister, gothic church, setting the perfect tone for Walker’s hypnotic beats. Under the skilled eye of designer Andreas Ohldieck of Filament, every element exuded an eerie charm, from the towering scenic columns and haunting windows to weathered plinths and a custom DJ desk — each piece hand-painted with care to bring this horror fantasy to life. With Scott Lawson as tour manager and Joshua Mierly as production manager, the vision unfolded in San Francisco, blending music and scenery in a night of spine-chilling spectacle. On October 22nd, the Boston Celtics celebrated their 18th championship win on opening night with a ring ceremony and banner raise ?? Our Design and Custom Fabrication teams definitely had a green thumb when designing and crafting the Banner Box and Ring Holder Table for this special night! The design of these pieces was intricate—our ATOMIC designer, Lindsey Mayer, and Project Manager, Colin Nixdorf, both came up with the idea of creating mini trophies to hold the rings?? And if you look closely, the actual ring holder is a mini basketball backboard—talk about attention to detail! A special shoutout to all our departments involved, especially the Paint and Power team. Together, they made the colors and LED shine and pop! ?? A heartfelt thank you to Pyrotecnico , who brought this project to us and contributed to the haze effect coming out of the Banner Box!
