Yesterday, our very own Hawks forward-center Onyeka Okongwu stopped by Kate's Club this morning, an organization that supports children and teens navigating grief ?? Onyeka spent time with the kids and played some competitive games of knockout ??

Beginning today, we are amplifying six select businesses, one each month, throughout the regular season. We’ll host a swag pop-up event to help uplift each business and encourage the local community to support them, as part of our ‘Lift As We Fly’ campaign. “We’re so excited to highlight local small businesses through these swag pop-ups around Atlanta,” said our very own Vice President of Marketing Narcis Alikhani. “Small businesses help lift our city up and we feel that along with our new Fly City Edition uniforms this campaign will celebrate the innovation, spirit and determination that makes up Atlanta.” The swag pop-ups are a continuation of our support of small businesses. Today, we announced our plans to pay tribute and honor the life and legacy of our Hawks legend and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall-of-Famer Dikembe Mutombo, who passed away on Sept. 30, 2024. On Monday, Nov. 25 during our game against Dallas presented by Kaiser Permanente and in conjunction with the team’s debut of its Fly City Edition Uniform 2.0, we are adding a new court decal as a tribute to Mutombo. In addition to the court decal and for that night only, our Hawks players will wear shooting shirts during pregame and will also bring back his signature “No, No, No” taunt as a tribute to the legend and the lasting legacy he left behind. Last week, in partnership with State Farm we unveiled a newly renovated, multi-functional Good Neighbor Club at the C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center in West Atlanta, one of the largest public recreation centers in the Southeast. Local students were joined by Hawks guards?Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vít Krej?í, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, City Council member Andrea Boone (District 10) and Parks and Recreation Commissioner Justin Cutler to celebrate the opening of the new Good Neighbor Club. ? The new Good Neighbor Club features a refresh of the teen center which aims to inspire students with new television sets for gaming and programming, new Hawks branded lounge furniture, and updated carpeted flooring and ceiling. The unveiling event featured special activities for teenagers in attendance like a chance to make custom bucket hats, a gaming tournament, a dance lesson and a photobooth.
