??♀? Our President, Craig Ridenhour, is taking part in yet another worthy cause, this time the 16th annual Tampa Bay Frogman Swim in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation. ?? The Tampa Bay Frogman Swim was scheduled for January 19th, but it had to be cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions. Regardless, it was a success with 30 Gold Star families in attendance and with 100 Gold Star families supported by the Tampa Bay event. ?? Although the 3.5-mile swim in cold water across Tampa Bay, for which Craig has been preparing since October, had to be cancelled; Craig was in good shape, honored to be a participant in this event and taking it very seriously. Moreover, his brother Matthew Ridenhour travelled from Charlotte to join him and to be his kayaker. Craig was to swim in honor of Freddie Porter Jr. who lost his life in a SEAL training exercise in 2007. With the help of his wife, Craig was able to speak with Freddie’s mother and sister prior to the event, which only reinforced how important all of the efforts are to supporting these fallen heroes and their families. ?? First of all, we have secured an agreement with Hanire for investment of up to $45M to recapitalize our unfavorable debt structure that has been a limiting growth factor thus far. The injection of funds is a turning point for AtlasClear, providing capital for accretive acquisitions, among other benefits. ?? When it comes to plans for this year, the focus is on digital assets. John highlighted that AtlasClear, together with Wilson-Davis, are truly nimble, which gives us a competitive advantage over much bigger rivals. Both Mark and John believe that the institutional adoption of crypto and other digital assets will sky-rocket and that the regulatory landscape is becoming more favorable. ? Furthermore, with the new administration, we expect more clarity on cryptocurrencies and AtlasClear will be at the forefront when it comes to the structure and support of this development. The focus will be on building a crypto custodial, trading, clearing and lending platform. ?? With Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) being the new dawn for digital assets, AtlasClear is perfectly positioned to take advantage of this trend and significantly grow in the years to come. This worthy cause is close to Craig′s heart as his brother, Matthew Ridenhour, is a Veteran and Marine. He supports the organisation throughout the year and explains how we cannot even start to comprehend what soldiers go through and how much they sacrifice for us. ??Craig also explains how Stop Soldier Suicide is helping to bring the suicide rate down by providing mental health support. ??
