This holiday season, we’re reminded of the power of community and the importance of lending a helping hand. Our Houston restaurants—Azumi,?Loch Bar, and?Marmo—teamed up to make a difference by donating and handing out?200 turkeys?to the?Bread of Life. Bread of Life has been a beacon of hope in Houston, providing critical support to those in need, and we’re honored to partner with them to spread a little joy this Thanksgiving. Together, we’re making Houston a stronger, kinder place to call home.

In partnership with The Nancy Grasmick Institute and Towson Armory, we had another great showing for our third Executive Development Training, a full day dedicated to our team leaders and developing their leadership styles and emotional intelligence! Sara Leitzel, manager of The Choptank, spoke about her experience. Read below. "The leadership training held under?the leadership?institute of Towson University was a wonderful & very useful?experience. Adam, who was the facilitator, had a vibrant & professional?energy that just?pulled you in & kept you interested. We did many different types of?exercises having to?do?with Leadership styles & Emotional Intelligence. We were able to network with fellow managers from our local sister properties as well as our sister properties in other states, including Houston, Delaware & Pennsylvania. This training promotes motivation for us as individuals, our individual?restaurants?& our company as a whole. Growing in leadership is the ongoing ultimate goal. I would highly recommend it to not just leaders in restaurants but leaders in all industries. Thank you to David Goodman, Chris McKenna & Gabby Lowman for putting this together for us. We truly are grateful for the?investment in ourselves from our leaders. The coffee, tea & lunch provided was a cherry on top. I look forward to more experiences like this in the future. "

Annapolis area shoppers and local businesses have once again demonstrated their support for our local schools. From late August to mid-October, K&B True Value asked customers to donate to one of 17 area schools to support their Cash for Schools donation program. Customers choose which schools to support. The Choptank Annapolis was proud to be one of five co-sponsors to match these donations!
