In recognition of our long-standing partnership and shared dedication to sustainability, we are proud to contribute to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. Today, #TeamAtlas had the honor of welcoming National Transportation Safety Board Chair Jennifer Homendy to our Global Operations Center (GOC) in Erlanger, Kentucky, located near CVG Airport - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Chair Homendy was given an in-depth company briefing and tour of our state-of-the-art GOC, where she learned firsthand about our unwavering commitment to safety. During her visit, CEO Michael Steen hosted Chair Homendy for a fireside chat with employees, discussing the pivotal initiatives that both Atlas and the #NTSB are pursuing to advance safety performance across the #aircargo industry. This engaging conversation provided our team members with an opportunity to hear directly from one of our nation’s premier transportation safety leaders about how government and aviation industry stakeholders can work collaboratively to drive progress toward shared safety goals. Thank you to Chair Homendy for her steadfast advocacy for aviation safety. We look forward to continuing to advance the highest standards of safety in the industry!

We are excited to announce the #Atlas fleet continues to grow! Atlas is adding three Boeing 747-8F aircraft to meet robust demand for large widebody airfreight capacity, driven primarily by cross-border e-commerce shipping. These aircraft are expected to enter service late in Q3 2024, building on the significant additions we have made to our widebody freighter fleet this year. The 747-8F is the most capable, technologically advanced, and environmentally friendly widebody freighter on the market. This expansion reinforces Atlas’ commitment to providing world-class service and operational flexibility to our customers and strengthens our position as a world leader in outsourced aviation logistics. Congratulations to Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities on being selected to receive a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Fueling Aviation’s Sustainable Transition (FAST) program!?The grant will advance efforts to provide Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to air carriers that rely on Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) as a refueling point for flights operating between Asia and the United States. SAF production in Alaska will reinforce the state’s role as an innovator in the energy arena and will contribute to economic growth and job creation.? ? As the largest airline operator in ANC, Atlas is proud to support the proposal which was only one of seven selected in the Tier 1 category. The project funded by the grant will bring us one step closer to achieving the climate goals outlined in our Sustainability Report, and we’re excited to drive further innovation in the aviation industry and across Alaska. ? We applaud the efforts of Alaska DOT to prepare a compelling grant proposal.?And we appreciate the FAA for its focus on decarbonizing the aviation industry and evaluating many worthwhile proposals.
