Our next stop on our 12 Ways Giving Program tour is for the ladies. This year was our first year getting involved with the Moms Helping Moms Foundation (MHM) based out of Warren, NJ and the Breast and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Group out of Garwood, NJ. Also our first year teaming up with our friends at Atlantic TPD, LLC. ? Moms Helping Moms Foundation (MHM) collects baby and feminine care supplies with a mission to create a future without childhood poverty by providing babies with the essentials to ensure a #safe and #healthy start. Currently, 1 in every 2 families, who have children in diapers, can not afford to keep their child clean, dry, and healthy. #MHM collects new and gently used baby items, diapers and supplies with the help of over 300 #volunteers, and distribute them through their over 90 #community service partners to #underserved families who reside all throughout the state of #NewJersey. Our group delivered a #donation and a few items from their wish list. In addition to our donations, folks from our #Warren office stayed to help in the MHM warehouse for a couple hours, sorting, organizing and doing anything would could to assist this awesome group and their great cause. ? We were also very proud to get involved with the team at the Breast & Ovarian Cancer Awareness Group (#BOCA) back in October. BOCA began fundraising and spreading #awareness in 2006 through multiple cancer research organizations. Then, in 2019, they started their very own 501(c)(3) organization, with the hope that they could provide financial #support, assistance, and educational awareness to families and communities touched by Breast and Ovarian #Cancer. TPD provided a monetary donation, which in turn will go directly to individuals who have been touched by these diseases.?From groceries to utility bills to care packages, this group of #survivors, #caregivers, and #supporters provides community assistance on a case-by-case basis as needed. ? We are proud to announce that Northwest Resiliency Park has received two awards recently; the Municipal Project of the Year Award by New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers and the Excellence Award in Water Resources Protection and Planning from the New Jersey Section of American Water Resources Association. The planning, design, and construction of Northwest Resiliency Park is a great achievement for E&LP as the Prime Consultant for Hoboken’s largest 6-acre urban public park. E&LP is proud to announce the approval of the Amended Preliminary and Final Site Plan application for the “Willows at Spruce Run” project in Clinton Township. The project consists of the construction of 96 Affordable Housing Units, a big win for the Township, as it will satisfy approximately 30% of their current affordable housing obligation. The E&LP design team consisted of Crystal Eggers, PE, LEED AP, Courtney Wilk, PE, Peter Canevari, Kevin Reviello, and Victoria B.
