Florence Square has long been a cornerstone of shopping in Northern Kentucky, drawing visitors with its diverse range of retailers. Anchored by a high-traffic Kroger Marketplace and featuring top national brands like HomeGoods, T.J. Maxx, Old Navy, Ulta Beauty, Five Below, Shoe Carnival, Barnes & Noble, and Burlington Stores, the center sees an impressive 17,400 visits per day and more than 6.3 million visits annually. However, the entrance sign, which had only been updated once since the property’s opening, was beginning to look outdated. Recognizing the need for a fresh, modern look, the property’s management turned to Atlantic Sign Company for a full redesign. This project involved completely reimagining the entrance sign, with the goal of creating a bold, contemporary statement. The existing sign structure was removed entirely, leaving only the original poles. In its place, Atlantic Sign Company crafted a striking new design featuring a mix of faux wood and sleek black panels, sharp geometric angles, and large, vertically-oriented lettering for the name. The installation was a complex process. We were on site for about a week to bring this one to life. We had a 40 ton crane, a 55’ JLG and everything in between to ensure a seamless and efficient installation. The result? A revitalized Florence Square sign that perfectly complements the modern, dynamic atmosphere of this popular retail destination. Florence Plaza is up next. Keep an eye out for us.

Throwback Thursday! Atlantic Sign Company was thrilled to take on a unique challenge when Everything but the House (EBTH) approached us for a new sign for their Blue Ash headquarters. They envisioned a design that blended the charm of a roadside attraction sign with a welcoming, homestyle vibe. We brought their concept to life with a striking design featuring a bold arrow adorned with exposed bulbs, which wraps around and beneath a warm, wood-grain backdrop. Camp Washington is making a tribute to its history with this eye-catching sign located off Hopple St. This new Gateway sign is a unique way to welcome the public to this historic neighborhood. We enjoyed working from start to finish with the Camp Washington Urban Revitalization organization, the Keep Cincinnati Beautiful Organization, the City of Cincinnati, and ODOT. This allowed us to create a sign with a strong statement. Our designers utilized a mix of vibrant colors, font styles and faux neon to make this sign a true standout piece. It is guaranteed to make an impression for years to come. Fun facts! Camp Washington is a historic neighborhood of Cincinnati, OH. Its central location of Mill Creek valley made it an ideal ground for mustering soldiers and herding cattle. During the Civil War, Camp Washington served as the hub for many slaughterhouses in Cincinnati. In 2002 a cow, later named Cincinnati Freedom, escaped from a Camp Washington slaughterhouse and eluded capture for 11 days, which drew National attention. She was later captured and lived out the rest of her days at Farm Sanctuary’s New York Shelter.
