I-GRAB Remote Operated Grab Excavator system arrives in the U.S.! Atlantic Tonjer unloads the I-GRAB system onto a waiting truck in Fouchon last week, ready for preparation and shipping onto the waiting Atlantic Oceanic U.S. fleet, preparing for the mammoth task ahead; tens of thousands of glacial boulders need to be relocated and debris removed from the seabed in the U.S N.E., ready for the offshore wind farm installations. Atlantic Oceanic LLC will rent this equipment alongside it's fleet in the U.S. to the contractors and subcontractors, boosting it's maritime rental fleet from just vessels to a suite of tools the contractors need in order to carry out their tasks. AO LLC will be among the first U.S. Companies to offer this specialised equipment, aimed directly at the offshore subsea construction market!... The Atlantic Oceanic teams has over 11 years experience in operating these systems and throught the UK affiliate, was the first in the world in 2013 to bring such systems into the market. Now 11 years later, this technology arrives on U.S. shores, ready for work. See more: https://lnkd.in/ejgmyP46 Bring your rental enquiries to Atlantic Oceanic!

Preparing for U.S. offshore wind: The proof is in the pudding! After 2 months of hard work, the 205ft (62.5m) Atlantic Breeze has been converted by Atlantic Oceanic from a straightforward Gulf PSV to an offshore multi role subsea vessel - and leaves the GOM for her first major contract. Here she is leaving Fouchon last week, headed for offshore wind construction support duties this summer, sporting a 40 ton A frame, 50 Ton winch, 7.5 Ton knuckle boom crane, WROV and LARS and additional upgraded accommodation for up to 30 POB. Atlantic Breeze is the next in a line of vessels undergoing reactivation and conversion with Atlantic Oceanic LLC, to be based in the US NE Coast. Living proof that the Jones Act works and vessels can be converted and made ready to meet the increasing demand of offshore wind... Huge thanks go to all the team at AO LLC who's hard work and dedication made this happen! Thank you. @atlanticoceanic.com https://lnkd.in/e7SwN7sc
