It was Economic Development Day, and the theme was "Reimagine". Starting our day with Melanie and Brian at Rustic Marlin who transformed their home business into a full manufacturing facility right in Hanover! Their history and journey are inspirational. Melanie O'Neil Brian O'Neil thanks for the tour and the breakfast! Next stop, Hanover Crossing. Talk about reimagine! From the old Hanover Mall to the new outdoor design, Ed Callahan GM of PREP Property Group (PREP) walked us through the transformation. Special thanks to LSS almuni Lisa Berardinelli for organizing this part of the day...including lunch at Sullivan's and raffle prizes from some Hanover Crossing tenants! (and thanks to our lunch sponsors, alumni Nicole Joy Hales of PRfirst Public Relations and LSS Advisor Jacqueline Collins of Partnering for Performance). Jackson Square in Weymouth was our next stop, where Bill Kingdon from Ellis Realty described the proposed redevelopment of the area. Conversations around the housing and workforce shortages were the perfect set up for our afternoon panel discussion!
