We're pleased to share our latest insights and outlook report providing a comprehensive analysis of the representations and warranties insurance market through 2024. Despite increased demand for RWI in 2024, intense competition among carriers drove premium rates to record lows. If the much-anticipated uptick in M&A activity materializes throughout 2025, we expect rates to return to their historical range of 2.75% to 3.25%. Our report examines trends in premium rates, policy limits and retentions while also discussing how carriers are responding to challenging sectors such as healthcare & life sciences. Eric?has joined our Tax Insurance team, where he will be focused on providing insurance solutions for complex domestic and international tax risks faced by hedge?funds, banks, and?other?financial institutions.?Prior to joining Atlantic, Eric served as the Head of Tax?for Citadel, where he managed all tax-related issues for Citadel, Citadel Securities, and Ken Griffin’s family office.?He has also held senior tax roles at?Toronto Dominion Bank?and Morgan Stanley, where he was part of the Global Structured Products group. Eric has been active in tax industry groups and engaged on tax policy issues at the federal level throughout his career. He was the Chair of the Managed Funds Association Tax Committee, and has participated on panels for the IIB, SIFMA, MFA, and the Canadian Bankers Association.
