It's that time of year again! Atlanta Connected Communities is hosting our annual Backpack Drive on August 3, 2024 from 11am - 1pm to provide the children in our KENCO Residential communities with a strong start to the school year. If you would like to volunteer with us, we would love to have your help. If you would like to help provide a backpack to a child in need, details are listed below. Let's partner together to start the school year off with generosity!

The work we do in our community would not be possible without our outstanding resident volunteers. From keeping the community looking great, to helping with childcare, to serving at our events throughout the year, to providing volunteer leadership, these servant-hearted individuals make this community feel like home. When launching ACC, our team read Neighborliness, by David Docusen. I can't emphasize the impact that book had on us enough, but I feel like our volunteers represent this quote well: “Our best intentions are the most impactful when they are formed by the actual needs and desires of our community.” Our volunteers are both living in and serving our community and their understanding of the needs and desires of our residents make our work more personal and more impactful.
