The Atlanta University Center Consortium is the world’s oldest and largest association of historically Black colleges and universities. Comprised of four member institutions – Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College and Morehouse School of Medicine, the Atlanta University Center is a vibrant intellectual community with a distinct tradition of service and community engagement. The Consortium advances each institution’s mission and strategic goals by fostering collaboration, managing center-wide initiatives, offering services that benefit our students and community, and leveraging our shared resources.
Collectively, the Atlanta University Center Consortium member institutions enroll over 10,000 students each year. Though each school is unique and our student communities are diverse, the member schools share a commitment to produce:
o Students who are well-equipped and prepared for success in their chosen career or field of study;
o Ethical leaders and confident change agents who enhance the well-being of others through their service;
o Global citizens who embrace difference and appreciate diverse cultures; and
o Lifelong learners who know the liberating and transforming power of truth.
