What started out as a move to push myself out of my comfort zone to become a better communicator?ended with me giving my first-ever talk at a tech conference, #DevNexus2025! I shared some insights on making Java applications more adaptive to data using Reinforcement Learning,?and it was great to receive positive feedback and get into great conversations. A big thank you to everyone who attended! It was also an awesome opportunity to connect with so many talented professionals and learn from their experiences.?I had the chance to chat with engineers who have been coding in Java for 30 years and are still going strong.? The keynote speakers brought so much flair and motivation. I attended a lot of inspiring talks and saw amazing demos. It's always a pleasure running into Geertjan, Starbuxman, and my friends from DR.?I made new relationships and?also walked away with enough free tees to last me another 2years, the true measure of a successful conference. ?? I had the opportunity to attend Devnexus for the fifth time last week. Attending Devnexus is more than just attending workshops and technical content. Connecting with attendees and establishing valuable conversations with speakers, Java champions, and jug leaders, among others, is made easy by the community spirit of the conference. ? JUG Leader Summit (Representing Dominican Republic JUG alongside Brayan M. and Freddy Pe?a) ? Java Champions Summit ? Java's 30th anniversary celebration. ? 3 days of first-class technical content, including workshops and talks. ? The hallway track is highly valuable. Thanks to Atlanta Java Users Group for an amazing Devnexus 2025. I am excited about meeting again next year!

For past 21 years, DevNexus has been Atlanta's premier gathering place for the global developer community, bringing together brilliant minds to share knowledge, explore emerging tech and build meaningful connections.
