As one of the oldest charities in Atlanta, we have been caring for our community and her animals for more than 148 years. We believe the relationship between humans and animals has deep significance, and we call on our city and each other to take action. Together we put up a united front against cruelty, neglect, and displacement. With a heart to better lives, we connect homeless animals with good homes and neglected animals with safe spaces—uplifting our community by instilling compassion. Our team members recently participated in a firm service day at the Atlanta Humane Society to help make a difference for Atlanta’s animals. Moore Colson employees helped wash bedding, clean cages and provide enrichment activities for the animals. We are honored to have the opportunity to give animals hope and a second chance to find their forever homes!

We’re excited to share that VCA Animal Hospitals recently took 9 of our shelter dogs out on a fantastic Dog Day Adventure! All the pups had an amazing time exploring, playing, and soaking up the sunshine. This adventure was a wonderful way for our furry friends to enjoy some well-deserved fun outside the shelter, and seeing their happiness is truly heartwarming.
