I'm finally taking a moment to capture how the small but mighty Atlanta Civic Circle team delivered for voters during the 2024 election cycle. This isn't exhaustive, but hopefully, it will illuminate what we've been up to (and why I haven't posted much this year). I hope these insights are helpful for newsrooms, ACC readers, and casual observers alike. Comment with what resonates and what you'd like for us to consider for future coverage. ??In Georgia politics, there's no such thing as a break. So, we'll take our lessons learned into the 2025 municipal elections and beyond.

Are you a city of Atlanta voter? Hear from the five candidates running for the open Atlanta City Council Post 3 At-Large seat this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. While there's a lot of talk about the presidency, and that's important, we encourage voters to pay attention to the local races. The person who wins the Post 3 race in November will vote on policies that directly impact your life including housing and land use, transportation funding, and other important quality-of-life issues.
A coalition of organizations have come together to host a forum and distribute a questionnaire to all candidates running for Atlanta City Council Post 3 At-Large. Their responses are now live at voteatl.org. On Thursday, join us for the candidate forum at 6:30pm at the IBEW building.
