Dedicated to helping families overcome the issues that contribute to homelessness, including domestic violence and job loss, the Atlanta Children's Shelter focuses on the long term self-sufficiency of the family.

The Atlanta Children's Day Shelter is gearing up for our annual Holiday House, a week long event where we build a marketplace for families facing homelessness. Parents can shop for free for gifts for their children and while we wrap and decorate the packages, they can visit with other parents and ACDS staff and volunteers over a delicious lunch. As we are entering the season of giving please consider donating to this wonderful event. Our Amazon wishlist allows you to choose items in support of this event. What a day at the Day Shelter! We had our Tippi Toes dance recital & our Thanksgiving Luncheon with Chef Tracey Bloom, organized by our friend, April! Then, our amazing friends at EverLaith Foundation stopped by to share their annual fundraiser results with us! They raised $9,500 this year, and we are so incredibly grateful! Everlaith raises their fundraiser goal every year and meets it--every year. We so appreciate their support and all their hard work.
