Founded in 1986, the Atlanta Children's Shelter (www.acsatl.org) provides free, quality day care, emotional support, and an educational curriculum for homeless children, plus focused social services for their families. Dedicated to helping families overcome the issues that contribute to homelessness, including domestic violence and job loss, the Atlanta Children's Shelter focuses on the long term self-sufficiency of the family.

Introducing our physical education partner, Little Champ Sports! Our kiddos receive regular physical education classes, which help them develop gross motor skills and important social-emotional skills like sharing, taking turns, and encouraging their friends. Lessons like these help our kiddos grow in community together!

When we review these systemic issues, we see more and more that the work to rectify these issues only happens when we work together. Let's overcome homelessness together.

Happy Valentine's Day from our infant students who hold hands on stroller rides???? Our kiddos had an amazing time at their Valentine's Day party yesterday, complete with box decorating, heart glasses, and plenty of candy! Celebrating holidays like these gives our kiddos the opportunity to learn about history and culture while also having fun.
