HomeSmart is set to open a new location in Suwanee later this month. The Arizona-based brokerage has been expanding in the Atlanta market since it acquired PalmerHouse Properties in 2021 and Solid Source Real Estate Companies in 2023. There are now more than 3,200 HomeSmart agents that serve the metro area, and the opening of the Suwanee office will allow further growth, the firm said in an announcement. Rocket is buying Redfin in a $1.75 billion deal, the companies announced Monday. Rocket is the parent company of Rocket Mortgage and other real estate-related businesses.
