ATL was pleased to host the Korean Hanbok Day Celebration and Exhibition on Oct. 24. Hanbok (??) refers to traditional Korean clothing, which holds significant meaning for Korean Americans. During our Hanbok Day Celebration, we enjoyed cultural performances and heard remarks from Korean leaders. This traditional Korean royal palanquin, which symbolizes a king’s sovereign power, has never been presented in the U.S., making this a unique occasion. The exhibit will be displayed in the International Terminal, Concourse F, from Oct. 24 to Nov. 21.
