AU Pro Hoops is headed to Nashville! ???? We're so thrilled to bring professional women’s basketball to Nashville, TN, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, during this incredible time for women's hoops! Season Four of AU Pro Basketball will kick off on February 4th and run through March 2nd. Welcoming the best of the best to the AUSL! ?? We’re thrilled to announce that softball icon, Jennie Finch, will be joining our organization as an advisor to the Athletes Unlimited Softball League.?Jennie will join fellow softball legends Jessica Mendoza, Cat Osterman, and Natasha Watley OLY as advisors to the AUSL, consulting with AU leadership and current athletes on the strategic direction of the new league. ?? Jennie has been a softball trailblazer both as a player and in her retirement. Her last professional contribution to the game was helping Team USA win its seventh straight World Championship title, and just two years prior, she headlined a pitching staff that would go on to claim silver at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Jennie racked up some incredible accolades while playing in every stage of the?game — high school, college, at the University of Arizona, and in the NPF. While in retirement, she’s still stayed close to the game, establishing a fastpitch softball program called Finch’s Aces and supporting many charitable foundations close to the game. ??? Hear the excitement directly from her — “With women’s sports finally getting the attention we deserve, and softball exploding in popularity at the youth and collegiate levels, the AU Softball League is a welcome addition at the professional level. I believe in what Athletes Unlimited is building, and I am looking forward to doing my part to help continue to grow the game and provide more opportunities for the best players in the world to compete at the highest level.” We’re so grateful to have Jennie’s expertise and support to help guide us through this next exciting chapter of Athletes Unlimited! ??
