关于我们

Athena-Tek brings over 25 years of communications System Integration experience to the Federal and Commercial industries including designing, developing, producing and supporting networks for governmental agencies, the oil and banking sectors and large and medium enterprises. Moreover, Athena-Tek has built-to-print experience with Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) products and has supported live training systems fieldings CONUS and OCONUS. Our roots go back to the initial cellular deployments in Latin America with its principals having participated in network deployments from the original analog AMPS systems. The cellular industry evolved to 2G TDMA/CDMA/GSM and has now merged into 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE). Athena-Tek’s principals will later support cellular network upgrades, and deploy and operate satellite, wireless broadband, paging, trunking and fiber networks. We have systems integrated solutions for voice, video and data applications per the customers requirements. We engage with strategic partners to integrate cost efficient solutions with low risk. Our systems engineering approach is based on our technical domain knowledge of live, virtual and constructive systems and our interdisciplinary engineering management process that evolves and verifies an integrated, life-cycle balanced set of system solutions. We have supported fielding of complex IT solutions for U.S. Army instrumented training utilizing the latest IT capabilities. The Home-Station Instrumentation System (HITS) supports collective maneuver training for platoon through battalion units. HITS captures Live Instrumentation events, training range video and tactical voice and augments virtual and constructive simulations to improve Warfighter performance. HITS leverages VMware vCenter Server 5 and vSphere Enterprise Plus 5.0 products to virtualize the system and provide a high availability architecture that minimizes down time and data loss on the core application servers.

Athena-Tek had the pleasure of meeting with the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) - Cross Warfare Directorate at our engineering testbed in Orlando, Florida. NAWCTSD, the Navy’s principal center for modeling, simulation, and training systems technologies, had the opportunity to assess Athena-Tek’s capabilities and technology maturity level. This meeting also explored how Athena-Tek's products could enhance a demonstration of NAWCTSD’s Joint Training Enterprise Network - Expeditionary (JTEN-X) Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) system, potentially leading to a fruitful collaboration. Athena-Tek's expeditionary 5G Network in a Box, Zeus, and the Training, Testing & Evaluation Edge Device (TED) were of particular interest to NAWCTSD. As tested in eight US Army Soldier Touch Points, the 5G-enabled TED can operate in 31 worldwide 5G bands, with seamlessly integrated 5-watt mesh extensions in the 900 MHz band, providing a cutting-edge solution for Live training. Moreover, Zeus and TED were demonstrated to be fully integrated into the Expeditionary LVC Command Center (XLCC) and the TAK-based Excon with DIS. We are excited about the potential collaboration and look forward to advancing training technologies together.#AthenaTek #NAWCTSD #5G #LVC #TrainingSystems #Innovation #Collaboration #STAAR #STELTS #PMTRADE

Athena-Tek is excited to participate in the annual Training & Simulation Industry Symposium (https://lnkd.in/ee2jW32D) conference in Orlando, Florida, and we invite you to visit our technology display. We are showcasing the subsystems required to create a 5G expeditionary network that can be used for Army Training and Test & Evaluation, as well as the MANET network utilizing our TED devices. Our latest TED was tested at Camp Shelby, Mississippi, during the week of June 3rd, 2024 and is now ready for integration into solutions that leverage XLCC or ATAK EXCONs. This cutting-edge technology enables more realistic and efficient training scenarios for our soldiers. In addition to the networks, we are demonstrating our solution driven approach - How TED has been integrated to Cubic’s the next-generation ZigBee based lightweight IWS detectors for Force -on-Force training with RTCA events shown on COTS watches. This innovative solution offers increased flexibility and ease of deployment. Our modified COTS Korean Android device, A TED, is used to pair the ZigBee detectors into a soldier personal area network, creating a seamless and integrated system. Moreover, A TED is used as a light weight ATAK EXCON and as a voice/video Instrument for the Observer Controller. Join us at the TSIS conference to learn more about how Athena-Tek's advanced technologies are revolutionizing Army training and test & evaluation. Our team of experts will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss how our solutions can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the future of military training and testing technology. Visit the Athena-Tek display at TSIS in Orlando, Florida, and discover how we can help you achieve your mission-critical objectives.

During the week of April 22, 2024, Mr. Curtis Leslie, Director of the U.S. Army's PEO STRI STAAR program, visited Athena-Tek to perform due diligence on the project in preparation for Soldier Touch Point 9. The due diligence process is crucial for the government to ensure that the project is progressing as planned, milestones are being met, and the technology being developed aligns with the Army's requirements. Mr. Leslie witnessed the current progress in several key areas: 1. Design and operation of a 5-Watt mesh modem. 2. Test and training edge device (TED) operation over commercial cellular networks integrated with XLCC, demonstrating constructive minefields detonating simulated forces when geofences are breached. 3. Integration of Linux-based TED with Android watches to display LTEC-generated RTCA events corresponding to specific body area damage. Additionally, the use of IMU data to determine the position of the soldier. 4. Significant improvements in mesh network range and scalability, as well as seamless 5G automatic handoff capabilities leveraging Multi Station Muti Channel Transmission (MSMCT). By leveraging TED's sub-meter accuracy and the advancements in mesh networking and 5G integration, Athena-Tek enables more realistic training and precise weapons testing. The company's innovative solutions are poised to revolutionize Army training and test & evaluation capabilities, with the support of key DoD contractors in the field. The successful due diligence process demonstrates the government's confidence in Athena-Tek's ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the Army's stringent requirements.

Athena-Tek and Cubic Defense event at the Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiment’s (AEWE) Tech Rodeo Athena-Tek and the Army's lightweight IWS technology partner, Cubic, participated in the Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiment’s (AEWE) Tech Rodeo event on January 24, 2024 at Fort Moore, Georgia. We demonstrated Athena Tek's Player Unit Radio ARES M, a small form factor mesh-only radio, with Cubic’s next-generation wireless detector technology for soldier training systems. This technology reduces size, weight, and form factor compared to legacy MILES-based systems and significantly improves the logistical footprint to enable continued training even with equipment failures. The ARES M radio brings a new capability to Army training by integrating with the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK)-based Exercise Controller for voice command and control. This allows company and below echelons to conduct force-on-force training within minutes without needing fixed infrastructure while enhancing realism. The mesh network also carried voice and video traffic for After Action Reviews. An international contingent of warfighters saw this next-generation training technology and provided feedback to our capability development team. Their insights will allow us to improve the system as it matures toward fielding. The AEWE is the Army's premier event focused on prototype technology for squads and small units to help shape the Force 2025 vision. As the central venue for collaborative concept and capability development, AEWE enables essential experimentation and evaluation of technological solutions for the Army's shift toward more agile, expeditionary, and lethal forces of the future. #armystrong #warfighter #trainingprogram
