Thank you to everyone who came along to my workshop at the Women in Property #PIPbyWiP Summit on Thursday. It was great fun to deliver two interactive sessions on ‘Confidence in Networking and Business Development’. The delegates got stuck in practicing active listening, curiosity, and generosity. We crammed a lot in to 45 minutes! ?? Thanks to Hannah Lloyd for inviting me to participate, and I loved the rest of the conference too!

Delighted to congratulate Jillian Love as she takes over as Women in Property Scotland Central Scotland Chair. She and her committee will continue to support women in the industry and help them to grow and thrive just as she continues to do! ????
? Incoming Central Scotland Chair : Jillian Love ? We are delighted to welcome Jillian Love of Gardiner & Theobald LLP as our Central Scotland branch Chair for 2024. Jill joined the committee in 2022 as social media coordinator and was appointed Vice Chair in March 2023, supporting Aurora Tallon to drive the diversity and inclusion agenda. This year she will focus on empowering members to take positive action. Jill says: "We have such an incredible talent pool in our membership and when we come together we inspire each other. The supportive culture of Women in Property Central Scotland provides members with a safe space to share challenges and discuss where improvements can be made. Our industry needs innovative ideas to prosper and equipping people with the confidence to voice their ideas and challenge the status quo is a vital step in driving positive change." Jillian, along with the help of Vice Chair Laura Brown, Junior Vice Chair Amy Dougan and the wider committee will lead a programme of events that spark inspiration and empower members to take positive action. Construction and property consultant Gardiner & Theobald is this year’s branch sponsor, providing financial support to enable the delivery of CPD accredited events and networking opportunities for members. The company’s support of Women in Property aligns with its business with purpose mission which takes action on the issues that matter. #IncomingChair #AspireSucceedInspire

We live for feedback like this! So many messages both on here and privately about how useful these Women in Property Scotland organised sessions were. This is why Athena Leadership Coaching and Consulting was created! To help others to be the best they possibly can, and give them simple, practical tools to help them get there. #coachingforsuccess #goalsettingtips #womeninproperty
After last night’s inspiring goal setting workshop from Nicola Barclay, I’m taking time this weekend to finish what she helped us get started on - setting professional and personal goals, delving into the deeper ‘why’ behind them and finding practical ways to actually hit them. I also can’t live without these productivity planners from Grace Beverley, which have whole sections about yearly and monthly goal setting, as well as keeping my daily to-do list in check. This is my third one, 10/10 would recommend. Huge thanks to Women in Property Scotland for organising and 7N Architects for hosting us in their fantastic space. #WomenInProperty #GoalSetting

Thank you to Montagu Evans for hosting; Women in Property Scotland for organising and everyone for turning up, engaging fully and working hard! This session is so valuable at this time of year, as we look to set our intentions for 2024. If you or your company are interested in being intentional with your business or personal goals, give us a shout and we'll get you on the track to success!!
Goal Setting in 2024 ?? ? It was a great evening hosting Women in Property Scotland and guests at our Glasgow office, covering expert insights on goal setting for the year ahead. ? Thanks to Nicola Barclay for her insightful presentation and Kirsty McCreath for organising the evening. It was great to connect and hear so much enthusiasm around the room. Here are three top tips from the session:? ? 1?? Create “SMARTER” goals – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Timebound, Exciting and Relevant. 2?? Consider why you are setting a goal and why it is important to you – set with intentions rather than resolutions. 3?? Share your goals with someone close to you to ensure you can be held accountable. ?? Would you add any? Let us know in the comments below ??
