The original ATEQ division, Leak Testing, was founded in 1975 by Jacques Mouchet who had a vision to replace?traditional production line leak detection methods with computerized dry, clean air leak testers that were fast, fully automated, calibrated and compliant with international quality standards. ATEQ's instruments can detect a wide range of leaks from a small air leak in a medical tube, bottle cap, or ink cartridge to a large leak in an automotive transmission. Everything leaks, even if it’s gas molecules that permeate the metal or plastic in which they’re stored. When a leak exceeds the specified tolerance standard, it can mean environmental contamination, loss of sterility or component failure.
