November in Latvia is indeed gray, so to brighten the mood, we’ve once again declared it our Appreciation Month. For the second year in a row, with the enthusiastic help of our colleagues Monta and Anta, we’ve launched a small internal #teamAtea gratitude post office. ?? ? We spend so much time with our colleagues, but we rarely get to stop and show our appreciation. The other day, we went around the office, hand-delivering "thank you" cards to some of our colleagues, capturing their heartfelt reactions on film. It is beautiful to see how small gestures can make a big impact, bringing smiles and spreading positivity throughout the team. ?? ? Starting a new job is stressful enough - now imagine doing it during a global pandemic. That is exactly how Dace Zvīdri?a story at #teamAtea began - our Service Delivery Manager working at the Enterprise Architecture team ???? ? ?? Dace tells herself: "Be a little bit more brave," when she thinks back to the time she joined Atea. At times it was challenging and isolating but she found that putting herself out there and making connections was key. “People are really friendly here,” she shares, highlighting the welcoming culture at #theplacetobe. ? For Dace, the size of Atea is both the biggest challenge and her favourite part of the job: “It never gets boring. You are constantly exploring, learning and meeting new people.” She emphasizes how, as an employee, you get the chance to challenge the "status quo" and contribute to the company's growth. Dace herself has come a long way since joining as a Solution Architect to now recently becoming the lead of the same team! ?? ? Atea truly has so much to offer, with endless opportunities to explore. For instance, Dace shares her curiosity about spending the day at our warehouse to see how orders are packed, or even shadowing a technician for a day assisting customers on-site.
