This integration aims to improve campaign tracking and optimization, with Meta reporting a potential 5% to 22% increase in conversions for advertisers with high-quality integrations. The setup process involves connecting Google Analytics to Meta via Meta Pixel, mapping data sources, and selecting conversion events. Advertisers can control data sharing, choosing whether to include all traffic sources or only Meta-related traffic. By bridging the gap between Meta’s ad platform and Google Analytics, this integration offers deeper insights into user behavior, improving audience segmentation and reporting. Early adopters may also gain access to exclusive updates before broader implementation.

  • ?Kenya’s advertising industry saw a major decline in 2024, with total ad spend dropping to KSh 84.9 billion from KSh 126.1 billion in 2023, according to the latest Reelanalytics report. This downturn is driven by economic pressures, regulatory shifts, and changing media consumption trends. Television remained dominant, accounting for 59% of total ad spend (KSh 50.39 billion), with Citizen TV leading viewership (35.15%). Radio followed at 32% (KSh 27.1 billion), while Out-of-Home (KSh 5.56 billion) and Print (KSh 1.84 billion) saw smaller shares. Economic pressures accelerated digital adoption, with 98.6% of social media users accessing platforms via smartphones. Betting and gambling led ad spending (17%), followed by media companies (11.7%) and banking institutions (7.4%). With mainstream media ad spending projected to drop 11% in 2025, businesses are advised to: ?? Focus TV ads on prime-time slots (7 PM–10 PM). ?? Leverage regional radio for targeted reach. ?? Strengthen mobile-first digital strategies, especially on TikTok. ?? Explore digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) opportunities.
