ATC Automation and Robotics recently donated a 480-volt laser welder to Tennessee Tech's Department of Manufacturing and Engineering Technology! Ethan Bernhardt, automation segment president and GM of ATC’s Cookeville facility, shared: “As we’ve grown, we always tried to find ways to give back to the community. We want to invest in higher education and vocational programs, and we’ve been partnering with Tennessee Tech for about 15 years now to develop a relationship that supports the university, invests in students and, in return, gives us a great pool of graduates who are potential applicants for employment within our facilities.” We’re excited to see this partnership continue to empower the next generation of engineers! ?#communitysupport #futureengineers #automation?

Recently ATC's Mike Briggs (Director of Operations) and Zeke Shaver (Director of Life Science Division) visited the 2nd and 3rd grade classes at Northeast Elementary to share about automation and robotics. They brought along a very special guest—ATC’s robot dog—who stole the show and sparked so much curiosity among the students!?The kids learned firsthand how automation and robotics play a role in our everyday lives, and their questions showed just how interested they are in the technology shaping our future. ATC Automation & Robotics’ Life Science Division recently commissioned a large automated machine which assembled a multiple component device at a rate exceeding 300 parts per?minute.?The overall project incorporated an asynchronous linear motor transport system, multiple feeding technologies, 100% inspection of critical and variable part features, and full validation of the line.
