Women-Owned Small Businesses with Expert Insights in Dominican Specialty Single Origin Coffee for the people
关于我们
Atabey Coffee Roasters is a women-owned, single origin Dominican specialty coffee roaster based in Los Angeles, CA. We import green coffee beans directly from the Dominican Republic and freshly roast them to order, ensuring the highest quality and flavor of Dominican coffee in every cup. Our commitment to fair trade practices supports small producers and strengthens their communities. I work directly with a local farmer back in Homeland. In addition to our e-commerce retail website where you can purchase our exquisite coffee, we offer unique pop-up events and corporate catering services, including immersive coffee tasting experiences. These events provide an opportunity to savor our carefully crafted brews while learning about the rich heritage and dedication behind each cup. Join us in celebrating the vibrant flavors of Dominican coffee heritage and the hard work of our dedicated farmer.

Founder and CEO, Luminary | Former Banking Executive | Inc. Female Founder 100 | Business Leader | High Performance Team Builder | Authentic Storyteller | Board Director
Over the past 5+ years I’ve been asked many times, “How do you build community?” or “How have you built such an inclusive community?” When I started Luminary it was important to me that our foundation of inclusion and belonging started with our own team and expanded to our Members, to our speakers and our programming itself. It’s very purposeful and intentional in everything we do. But whether you’re building a company, managing a team, just starting out in your career, managing through a transition, you have the opportunity to create community and be a culture carrier. It starts with you. And my community building didn’t start with launching Luminary, it’s been part of building and navigating my career since I entered the workforce. I’m a firm believer that as a leader you must practice what you preach and truly walk the walk. But being a leader isn’t just about a title or level; it’s about your actions, building relationships, establishing influence, knowledge sharing, and you can do that any stage of your path/career/business. That’s what I see every day at Luminary. And I love getting to highlight our community. I met Ana Nouel, Founder of Atabey Coffee Roasters, two years ago at Luminary LIVE in LA. Ana’s not only building her business, but she’s building a community around her company, her mission, her leadership, and herself. It’s a privilege to be a part of her journey. How are you building community? How are you leading by example? #community #womenintheworkforce #leadership #career
