ASU Software Engineering student Devanshi Prajapati has been investigating code quality trends in student programming submissions using educational data mining techniques under the advisement of SE faculty Ruben Acuna. This project is funded by Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering (MORE) program and was featured at https://lnkd.in/gym4thnR The goal of this project is to enhance existing automated assessment tools with the ability to assess code quality characteristics and generate feedback for students. Diwali, the Festival of Lights, brought joy and vibrant celebrations to ASU's Polytechnic Campus! It’s wonderful to see the ASU Software Engineering community (SCAI ASU) students and faculty coming together to enjoy this festive event.
Another Friday, another party at Poly! Hundreds of students took over the softball fields on campus for the Festival of Lights. There was great food, music, and dancing—I'm glad I've been working late on the weekends lately! Happy Diwali!
