And it's out! After years of stops and starts, this is Wordrunner, the world's first mechanical keyboard with a built-in word counter, aka 'Wordometer'. I couldn't be more proud of how this product came out. It is not just another mechanical keyboard in a sea of sameness. It is something very special and worthy of the Freewrite name. Huge thanks to the entire Astrohaus team for pushing hard to get the prototype and all the comms ready for our demo at #CES yesterday. I announced the product at the Kickstarter booth with our friends there and the reactions we got were priceless. This CES experience, after a 6 year break, has been totally incredible. The energy was tangible across the show. After a lot of feedback from folks the last few days, I'm going to get back to writing on here. In future posts I'm going to be breaking down the design process of Wordrunner and how it came to be over the past 6 years. It was not a straight line!
